The original problem I reported on October 6, 2023 happens with Zotero 7.0.3. I am using the Quick Format citation version, not the classic view. However, it only happens the first time I add a citation.

Thanks for the feedback. There are a few audiences I'm mindful of: Zotero developers, screen reader users, and other parties attentive to issues of the accessibility of academic software.

Is a VPAT being prepared for Zotero 7? A document that lists WCAG areas covered or known gaps is helpful.

The original post here is just a persona-based scenario to demonstrate the problem. The same problem will exists for persona who uses screen reader as they also rely on keyboard-based navigation.

In the past, I've chosen to avoid the Quick Format option (the red dialog) as it has had more accessibility problems when using it with JAWS. Has it been given attention in the last year or so?

I checked Zutilo. I didn't see one for Library Lookup. There is one for google scholar. It would be also be helpful to build it directly into Zotero as some researchers who can't use a mouse may not know about Zutilo.
